Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons are a team in the NBA. They were founded in 1941. They were known as the Fort Wayne Zollener Pistons in 1941-1948, then they were the Fort Wayne Pistons in 1948-1957, now they are known as the Detroit Pistons. They play in The Place of Auburn Hills arena, located in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The teams head coach is Stan Van Gundy, he is the president of the team as well, the team manager is Jeff Bower. The Detroit Pistons have won 3 championships in 1989, 1990, 2004. Wow they must have been dominant before because they won back to back championships! They have won 7 conference titles in 1995, 1996 in the western conference and in 1988, 1989, 1990, 2004, 2005 in the eastern conference. The Pistons have a lot of good players such as Reggie Jackson, Steve Blake, Danny Granger, Reggie Bullock, and many more. The Pistons have a good team this year and are looking forward to win the championships.
