Paul George

Paul George is an NBA player on the Indiana Pacers. He plays the small forward position. George is 6 ft 9 in and weighs about 220 lbs. He is born on May 2, 1990 in Palmdale, California. He went to Knight High School, then he went to Fresno State in 2008-2010 for college. He was 1st round 10th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, and he was selected by the Indiana Pacers. George is a 3x NBA All-Star (2013, 2014, 2016), he was 2x All-NBA Third Team (2013, 2014), he won NBA All-Defensive First Team (2014), he won NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2013), he won NBA Most Improved Player (2013), and finally he won NBA All-Rookie Second Team (2011). Paul George is working harder and harder everyday to improve his skills to win Most Valuable Player.

My Weekend

In this blog I am going to talk about what I did last weekend.
On Saturday it was my best friend Coby Broukhim's bar-mitzvah service. It was amazing, I got to see and talk to all of my friends. The best part was that I got to hear Coby read the torah, and he did awesome. After the service we got to have lunch together.
 On Saturday night I went to my friends house to have a sleepover, and there were 11 kids! It was the best sleepover in my life. We went to the pool, we played video games, we played board games, we went out for dinner, and the best part was that we got to spend time with each other.

On Sunday I went to hebrew school. Since I was very tired from Saturday night, I took a 4 hour nap when I came home from hebrew school. I then woke up very fresh, and I was hungry so I decided to go eat sushi. The sushi was a really good meal. When I went home I was relaxing, so then I decided to watch a movie, the purge. I am telling you right now that was a pretty scary movie.
 This was my weekend.

Bar Mitzvah

Today I am going to write about something different, my bar mitzvah. My service was on April 2, and my party was on April 3. I'm telling you I had the best time of my life. I woke up on Saturday morning and was very excited for my service. If you didn't know the Jewish service is when a boy reads from the Torah, and that is a bar mitzvah, but if your a girl it is called a bat mitzvah. When I went to temple I got really nervous I thought I was going to do bad, then I calmed down and I read the Torah like I was studying the it for my whole life. It was such a relief when I finished it.

The next day was my party, and it was the best time of my life. I had a photo booth, a poker table, a blackjack table, and rollet table. I had the best Dj he played all of my favorite songs and he made the night amazing. At my party I had to do a candle lighting ceremony which is when you call up all of your family members, you dance and light your 13 candles with them. That was probably the most fun part. At my party I played games, I danced, I basically just partied and had the best time of my life. This was the best day of my life!

Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers is a team in the Eastern Conference NBA. The Pacers were in the ABA from 1967-1976, and then they moved to the NBA. The arena they play is Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The president of the team is Larry Bird (an NBA legend), the team manager is Kevin Pritchard, the head coach is Frank Vogel, and Herbert Simon owns the team. The Pacers have won 3 championships in the ABA, but they haven't won a championship in the NBA. They have 1 conference title, and 9 division titles (3 in ABA, 6 NBA).

The Indiana Pacers are a pretty strong team. They had the legend Reggie Miller who has played his whole career with the Pacers. Now there is Paul George who is the teams main carrier. The Pacers starting lineup is George Hill at point guard, Monte Ellis at shooting guard, Paul George at small forward, Myles Turner at power forward, and Jordan Hill at center. The Pacers are working their players harder and harder everyday to get their 1st NBA championship.

Blake Griffin

Blake Griffin is an NBA player on the Los Angeles Clippers. He plays the Power Forward position. He is born on March 16, 1989 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is 6 ft 10 in and weighs about 251 lbs. He went to Oklahoma Christian for high school, and then he went to Oklahoma Collge for college in 2007-2009. He was 1st round 1st overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. Griffin is a 5x NBA All-Star (2011-2015), he is a 3x All-NBA Second Team (2012-2014), he won All-NBA Third Team (2015), he won NBA Rookie of the Year (2011), he was the NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion (2011), he won National college player of the year (2009), and he won Big 12 Player of the Year (2009).

Blake Griffin is one of the best players on the Los Angeles Clippers. He is also one of the best people who can dunk in the NBA. He dunked over a Kia car to win the 2011 Dunk Contest, that is insane to dunk over  a car! He can carry the team anytime, if Chris Paul is out he will be the one that will control the Clippers. Griffin, Paul (the Clippers starting point guard), and DeAndre Jordan (the Clippers starting center) make the best duo. They are unstoppable when it comes to scoring. Blake Griffin is working harder and harder everyday to carry his team to their 1st NBA championship.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers are an NBA team in the Eastern Conference. The Cavaliers (also Cavs for shortened) were founded in 1970. They play in Quicken Loans Arena which is located in Cleveland, Ohio. The team manager is David Griffin, the head coach is Tyronn Lue, and Dan Gilbert owns the team. Sadly the Cavs have won 0 championships, but they won 2 conference titles in 2007 and 2015.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are a very strong team in the NBA. They have the world best player who is Lebron James, they have 2 all-stars who are Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, and they also have the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2013 J. R. Smith. The main carrier of the team is Lebron James, he is unstoppable. Kyrie Irving has the best dribbling skills in the NBA so that is also who carries the team. Kevin Love is just a talented player, he has been for his whole career. Last but not least J. R. Smith who is one of the best 3-point shooters in the league. The Cavaliers are training their players harder and harder everyday to win their 1st championship.

Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard is a point guard for the Portoland Trail Blazers. He is born on July 15, 1990 in Oakland Calafornia. He is 6 ft 3 in, and weighs about 195 lbs. He went to St. Joseph Notre Dame for high school in Oakland. Then he went to Webber State in 2008-2012 for college. Lillard was 1st round 6th pick selected by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2012 NBA Draft. Damian is a 2x all-star (2014, 2015), he won All-NBA Third Team (2014), he was NBA Rookie of the Year (2013), he is a 2x NBA Skills Challenge champion (2013, 2014), and he is a 2x Big Sky Player of the Year (2012, 2014).

Lillard is a young player. He is the best player on the Portland Trail Blazers. Lillard is such a clutch shooter. Clutch is when you come out to save the game, basically like your a clutch player when you save the game. Even though the Portland Trial Blazerd aren't doing quite good this season they will be better and they will become better with Damian Lillard as their clutch player. Damian Lillard is working harder everyday to get his team to win a championship.
